Minha Amada Imortal (Immortal Beloved)


Após a morte do compositor e maestro Beethoven seu testamento é encontrado e a amada imortal citada na carta tem que ser localizada.
Seu melhor amigo sai à procura e acaba descobrindo varias relações amorosas mal resolvidas, e a cada antiga relação de Beethoven, seu amigo vai descobrindo a vida medíocre que ele levava.
Beethoven começou a sua vida de músico muito cedo e sendo inexperiente suas apresentações não agradavam, por esta razão ele apanhava do pai e  essas surras resultaram em sua surdez. Por essa deficiência ele deixou amores ousados e esplêndidos para trás e nunca soube que tinha um filho.
Seu sobrinho sofre amargamente com o tio, que lhe fazia aprender ritmos musicais e composições sentimentais. O músico escrevia quando seus pensamentos lotavam sua mente.
O filme é de um romantismo belíssimo, mostra o sentimento das mulheres com quem Beethoven saia e a decepção delas quando largadas por ele, e com todo seu mistério, relata a sensibilidade do sobrinho que tenta o suicídio,  do irmão que morre em  seus braços de tuberculose, e também do próprio Beethoven que aos poucos ia enlouquecendo, acompanhado apenas de seus próprios pensamentos,  estendendo a imaginação para suas composições.
Um ótimo filme passado na Idade Moderna, mostrando o real da vida de amores sentimentalistas.
No elenco o ótimo ator Gary Oldam (Drácula de Bram Stoker) e a 
bela Isabella Rosselline (O Sol da Meia -Noite).
