The film is inspired by real events as the central character a boy Trevor for being bullied in school end up developing a very aggressive behavior. Tired of being harassed reaches the point of threatening to blow up the school building with a pump fake. After that suffers from a distrust of all: teachers, students and parents. Mr. Duncan, a professor theater and cinema is the only one who believes in the young so just asking Trevor to a protagonist on the side of a piece sympathetic to Jenny with the title " Bang Bang You’re Dead", which brings his narrative situations like that The boy has already experienced, which makes him rethink their attitudes and whether it really is worth act motivated by revenge. Unfortunately the piece is not understood by teachers, parents and the school and ends up being censored, the obliging them to rehearse covertly. But Trevor is not the only one who is tired of being disrespected and harassed at school, and ends up joining other students and plan an attack of great proportions.Bullying is psychological violence, physical or verbal, that occurs in all sectors of society. In the film you can identify different types of school bullying in the environment such as assault scene in which students are thrown in landfills, by exclusion when the child is prevented from staying in the lunch tables and psychological aggression in the scene where the boy is forced singing jingle bells. This movie is a great opportunity to broach the subject with students, but should be watched by everyone for who was the victim of bullying at some stage of life or was a spectator of any situation of this kind of violence and intolerance is impossible not to identify with the story of a young student, and narrate the subject realistically makes us think and realize that it is not necessary to wait for a tragedy to happen before taking action. Bullying has always existed, but because the tragedies reported by big media (eg in Columbine in 1999 and in Rio de Janeiro in 2011) is gaining ground and being discussed by all sectors of society.
Some celebrities who have been victims of bullying: Eminem, Gisele Bündchen, Bill Gates, Justin Timberlake, Elvis Presley, Orlando Bloom, Sophia Loren, Tom Cruise, Christina Aguilera, Chester Bennington (lead singer of Linkin Park), Kate Winslet, Sandra Bullock, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus.
The film directed by Guy Ferland was inspired by a piece with the same nomer and has cast Ben Foster (Alpha Dog), Tom Cavanagh (Ed tv series and movie Breakfast With Scot) and Randy Harrison (Justin's debate and cult series Queer as Folk).
